Thermostat Accuracy in the Off-Seasons

It may be a little early to completely declare the cooling season over, but wow this has been a mild August. That means it's going to be one frigid winter this year. During this in-between time, we find ourselves with huge fluctuations in temperature. Low 80s for a high and mid 50s for a low means chances are you can just pop the window open, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the weather.
